(Peebles, OH) Its time once again. Time to fill the Adams County, OH air with the sound of competition. The sound of Hundreds of Horsepower roaring around a dirt track outside of Peebles, the pilots of the machines in search of a Check, Championship Points and a Win at the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex. The 3/10 Mile track which opened its gates in 2001 will be celebrating its 17th Season of high octane excitement in Southern Ohio when gates reopen in April for the first of 15 Events scheduled throughout 2017. The season will begin and end with Non-Points afternoon events known simply as FunDays however, Sunday FunDay 2017 is sure to be over the top with excitement and action as it kicks off the 2017 season at BMC on Sunday April 2nd!
Action on April 2nd will consist of action from the Modifieds, Sport Mods, Legend Cars and will end with a 100 Lap Enduro! The event is slated to be run in the daytime to avoid cool nights which in Ohio can turn into freezing nights. Sunday Afternoon racing always throws a curve ball into the drivers hands but the best will learn to adapt and figure out how to end up in Victory Lane! Fans have waited since October to see action back on track at Brushcreek and it is sure to be a must see event.
Brushcreek Motorsports Complex will begin the hunt for the Championship on Saturday May 6th with the first Points race of 2017. On May 6th, all classes will be racing including a 100 Lap Enduro however, to help kick off the 2017 season, fans will be treated to a Season Opening Fireworks Show! “We started the Season Opening Fireworks a couple years ago following the popularity of our July 3rd event” Says Promoter Steven Partin “We are happy to be able to add another layer of entertainment to the always exciting action we see here on track”
Some of the other Schedule Highlights include the Famous #Firestorm which returns on Monday July 3rd with two pyrotechnic displays lighting the skies up at one time! Along with racing action and an Enduro which makes drivers Jump over the backstretch banking, fans will see the 2016 Championship presentation ceremony and much more!
Friday July 28th will once again showcase the second to last night of the Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week which travels the best Late Model drivers in the area around Ohio throughout the week. The event will display drivers battling their hardest for some final Dirt Week points PLUS a $3,000 payday. Fan favorite Jackie Boggs won in 2015 with Tyler Carpenter winning in 2016.
The Season will end with a Championship shootout like no other. Heading into the final event, the top 4 in each division will be set equal and the highest finisher in the feature event winning the Championship! Drivers will be pitted against each other to try and win the hardware and the title of being a Champion for the rest of their lives. The 3rd annual Night of Champions will take place on Saturday October 7th!
Action on Sunday April 2nd will begin at 3:00 PM with Hot Laps. The Gates Open at Noon with a Drivers Meeting being held at 2:30 PM. General Admission will be $15 for Adults (13+) with Kids 12 and Under being admitted Free! Pit Admission is $30 All Ages.
